how do u try different proffesions - Guild Wars Forums

everyone says that you can try out all the different combinations of proffesions (primary and secondary) plz tell me how this works like is there a set training ground that you can try these people out on. and how does the menu work like do u need 2 go 2 a seperate place to try these people or at the main menu does it ask if u want to try out character builds or wat. thanx fer ur help

choose a primary profession when creating character

choose a secondary profession from a trainer of whichever one you want to add

the training area is set up like the game and is big enough that some reviewers thought it was the game

change primary by creating a new character and repeat for secondary

if you want to try a different secondary simply say that you dont want to make it permanent when asked if you want to make it permanent then try another trainer for a different profession

they may also still have level 20 roleplay characters to try as well

you are able to have 4 created toons at a time. at the login screen you choose which one you want to play.

lol you can be like me and reroll many times trying out different combos. if you delete a toon it allows you to recreate one right away -- you may even use the same name again.

during the last beta events they have allowed us to choose between 1st or 20th level toon and or a 20th level premade "arena" toon (which comes with a nice set of armor and weapon but may only used in pvp arenas).

You cant jump from one char to the other. It takes a while to get a charachter off the ground. I would say 2 hours for an inexperienced player. So make a good guess of what you want to do.

MOST importantly. Take your time and enjoy the first Missions /trainers etc. You will get so much more out of it.

The first guy you need to speak to is straight ahead across the bridge. After that, just head out to your left and through the shimmering portal.

Toon toon toon, what does it mean? Ive headit in 2 contexts, first is as a short for cartoon. Also in the Ender's Game book, it was used to describe a group of the kids who would work together. What does it mean here?
